When it all began
The history of the bakery is the story of the Galardo family and its great-grandparents forced to emigrate to Argentina to escape the war in 1914.
Back in their homeland, the island of Capri, for Galardo great-grandparents would be enough oil and bread for a living. And this is how, to give shape to an intuition, they decided to open an oven.

An oven and a mill are enough
An oven to churn out fragrant and aromatic bread, a mill to produce flavorful olive oil and the Galardo gave life to one of the most historic ovens of Anacapri, a legacy of values and genuineness that has been handed down from father to son.
Passion and tradition are enough
The dedication of the great-grandparents and the effort of the Galardo generations have made the Bottega del pane the most famous among the ovens of Capri.
Today the bread is still worked scrupulously following the artisan techniques of the past, with the same recipes handed down by tradition and a dusting of unchanged passion

Quality and taste are enough
The quality of raw materials is indisputable: a premium-grade grain and only the best flours to bake bread and taralli that preserve the same flavor, the same fragrance, the same flavor of bread baked by great-grandparents.
